Best Bridal Shops in Colorado

If you’re shopping for the perfect wedding dress, chances are you’re also looking for the best bridal shops in Colorado so that you can touch, feel, and most importantly try on different dresses. While there’s an abundance of online stores for wedding dresses these days, nothing beats the experience of going into a bridal salon and getting expert help in finding the right styles and fit for your body.

Denver is emerging as a hot spot for bridal fashion, with some of the top bridal shops in the whole country located right here in the mile high city. With over a dozen bridal shops in the Denver metro alone, and more in neighboring cities like Colorado Springs, Boulder, and Fort Collins, it can be hard to know where to start the search.

Each bridal shop will have its own speciality, whether it’s couture gowns, boho chic dresses, affordable styles, or even consignment wedding dresses. If you already know what you’re looking for, it can be helpful to go through each bridal shop’s website to see which designers they carry, and get a feel for the price range of their selection as well, before booking an appointment at one or two of your favorite shops.

If I’ve learned one thing about shopping for a wedding dress from my five years as a wedding photographer, it’s that you can easily get overwhelmed with all the options. No matter how many hours you spend scrolling social media to look for dresses you like, there’s no replacement for talking to a stylist in a salon and trusting their recommendations. Go in with an open mind, and you’ll find your perfect wedding dress much faster than if you’re set on any one specific style before even trying on any dresses.

Because each bridal shop in Colorado has their own style and selection of dresses, I’ve toured my favorites to photograph the shop and interview their stylists about what makes them unique. Read on to learn more about each shop, then click through to their websites to schedule an appointment.

All bridal shops featured in this post are LGBTQ+ inclusive businesses.

anna bé bridal boutique in Denver

anna bé bridal boutique is the sophisticated, cool sister store to a&bé that you just read about. Located in the lohi (lower highlands) part of Denver, they’ve got one of my favorite stores in town. The brick building and modern interior fits perfectly with the laid-back and elegant Colorado brides who find their dresses there. anna bé also has locations in Minneapolis and Dallas, but the Denver store came first in 2006.

One of the things I love about anna bé is that they have their values clearly spelled out on their website, but they also walk the walk, and donate a portion of every sale to four worthy charities.

Emma & Grace Bridal Studio in Denver

In a beautiful warehouse in RiNo, Emma & Grace Bridal Studio has one of the biggest selections of wedding dresses in Denver. They are all about seeking out the beauty in the everyday woman, and have dresses for every kind of bride. What makes Emma & Grace stand out from the other shops on this list is their in-house design, sewing, and alterations studio. Beyond normal alterations, they design and sew a private collection with 10-12 dresses a season called the Emma & Grace Label.

And the coolest part is that they repurpose sample dresses that were ready to be retired into new styles—think less traditional wedding dress, more chic rehearsal dinner, engagement party, or even elopement dress. It’s their With Grace collection, and every piece is one-of-a-kind. It’s perfect for Colorado couples who need wedding attire without the 9-12 month timeline of a traditional dress.
