Thea + Joe’s Denver Courthouse Elopement

When Thea and Joe couldn’t decide between the mountains or city for their elopement in late October, we decided to go for the best of both. We started the day at Lost Gulch Overlook, and even had it to ourselves for sunrise—but only because it was freezing cold and windy there that morning. Luckily we’d planned on stopping by their house in south Boulder, where we got a warm welcome from their dog. The newlyweds signed their marriage license at home, before we headed down to Byron White Courthouse in Denver for portraits. By the time we said goodbye and headed our separate ways for lunch, the sun was even coming back out.
