What to Expect

Let’s do a video chat and get to know each other! It’s SO important to make sure we get along before your wedding, and I want you to feel completely confident in your decision when you book me. We’ll also chat about how much coverage you want, if you want an engagement session or second shooter, and any other details I need to know to make sure you get the right price for your wedding.

I want to help my couples in whatever way I can, from scouting the most epic elopement locations in Colorado to recommending a makeup artist that will get up at 3am to get you ready for that sunrise ceremony. I am always just a text or email away! I will also send you my wedding guide, preferred vendors, tips for putting together your group portrait list, help you build a timeline, and all that good stuff.

On your wedding day, I’ll be that friend you’ve stayed in touch with via emails and insta-DMs rather than some random vendor you hired. I’ve helped zipped a bride into her dress at the trailhead, taken a couple off-roading in my Subie to find a secret waterfall, and hugged so many teary-eyed moms at the end of the night that I’ve lost count. I promise the whole day will feel more natural, and your photos will look so much better, when you book a photographer you LOVE!

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing so much raw emotion, beauty, and most importantly memories we can cherish for a lifetime! We absolutely loved adventuring with you. We could not have have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect photographer to share it with.”

Heirloom Wedding Albums

Let’s be real? There’s very little point in investing in a wedding photographer if your photos will spend the next sixty years on a thumb drive, or on a social platform you’ll never look at again after the post-wedding likes stop coming in. I want you to have something tangible after your wedding, which is why I offer heirloom quality albums that your future grandkids can flip through long after Facebook is dead and gone.

My heirloom wedding albums are printed in the United States with archival ink on fine art paper, and come with a lifetime quality warranty. Sizes start at 6x6 (perfect for parent or gift albums!) and go up to 12x12. Cover options include high quality book cloth in 70+ different colors, and full-grain, rustic, and premium leathers. Custom engraved wood album display boxes in your choice of wood finish are available as an add-on.

P.S. That is not a miniature size album in the slider but a 10x10 – my Luna is a very large cat!

Sae & Andrew

When my husband and I decided to move to Colorado, we knew we wanted to elope and take advantage of all the beautiful spaces in the state. We didn’t give anything much thought other than we wanted great pictures. We contacted dozens of photographers and everyone fell short for one reason or another (timing, style, responsiveness, etc.). When we found Nina, it felt like we found someone who understood us and truly loved CO. She was responsive, prompt, thorough and incredibly helpful. Nina held our hand through the process and we essentially asked her to pick our venue. She delivered and it was exactly what we envisioned. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I am truly grateful that we found Nina!

Caroline & Steve

Nina was fantastic to work with and the photos are amazing!! We had a winter elopement Rocky Mountain National Park, and the weather caused us to make some last minute changes to our plans. Nina was accommodating in every way! She was so knowledgable about the location and made the day smooth and easy. Our friends and family have given us so many compliments on the photos!

Kaity & Manuel

WHAT. A. DAY. Nina was… beyond incredible. We were on the fence about getting an engagement shoot at all and on top of that, I got altitude sickness that morning and almost cancelled last minute. We were nervous about not getting many good shots out of it, (and aside from being sick) in general, were worried about the pictures looking too posed. I am SO THANKFUL that we went forward with Nina after everything! The pictures capture our love so beautifully, I’ve looked at them 100 times over…. I love them so much! Nina – Thank you SO. MUCH. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Print Shop

Few things make me happier than when my couples send me instastories of their wedding photos printed on their living room walls!

Your gallery will come with a private print shop where you can order prints, frames, canvases, and even save the dates and thank you cards. Everything you order comes directly from a print shop that I love working with, so that you get the highest quality products.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you photograph our LGBTQ+ wedding?

Heck yes! (And I am so sorry this is a question anyone still has to ask.)

Can you help us find a beautiful place to elope?

Of course! Many of my couples are coming to Colorado from out of state, or recently moved here, and want my help in picking the perfect location for their mountain elopement. I’ve spent the past nine years road-tripping Colorado and exploring every nook and cranny of our beautiful state, so once you’re booked I will send you my elopement location guide, and help you find the perfect spot!

When do we get our photos?

You will receive a sneak peek photo to your email within 48 hours after your wedding or session, and your full gallery will be ready within four weeks!

How many photos will we get?

It depends on how many hours I am there for, the schedule of events, whether we have a second photographer, and other variables (an hour of hiking means less photos than an hour of portraits). You will generally receive between 50-75 edited photos per hour of coverage.

Will we get high-resolution files?

Yes, you will receive the edited photos delivered digitally via your own personalized gallery that you can share with friends and family, and you can download the photos in high-resolution. You will also get a print and digital use release, which means that you can share the photos online or print as many copies as you’d like.

Do you have insurance and permits?

Yes, I maintain full business liability insurance, and can provide a copy of my insurance certificate to your venue upon their request. I also have annual photography permits for Boulder OSMP and Rocky Mountain National Park, and I will gladly research permits for any other location we might want to shoot in.

How and when do we pay?

When you are ready to book, a $1,000 retainer and a signed contract will hold your date. The remaining balance is due three weeks before your wedding date. I’m also happy to split the remaining balance into up to four payments for you. For adventure sessions, engagements, proposals, and other portrait sessions, the session fee is paid in full in advance.

This all sounds great, now how do we book you?

Get in touch via my contact form, or give me a call or text me at 303-219-0307. If I’m available for your date, we’ll set up a time for us to video chat so we can talk about your big day and make sure we’re right for each other. Then you’ll sign a contract, pay the retainer, and we’re all set!
