Colorado Weddings & Elopements

Weddings are both wild and intimate, both big love and small celebrations. They leave you at the mercy of Mother Nature, but open you up to adventure. And isn’t that kind-of what love is all about? Surrendering control but choosing the person you want to do it with.

How this works

1

We’ll start with a video chat (or meet for a beer, if you’re local to Boulder) to get to know each other. It’s SO important to make sure we get along before your big day, since I’ll be following you around with a camera all day! We’ll talk about what you’re envisioning for the day, and how this whole thing works, so that you can feel completely confident in your decision when you book me!

2

I’ll send you a questionnaire to get to know you better, help you coordinate your family portrait list, and even help write your timeline. If you’re eloping, I’ll send you a detailed document with ideas for epic locations. I also have a long list of vendors that I can recommend, so that you can have the best team on your side. I am just an email or text away throughout this entire planning process.

3

By the time your wedding day rolls around, we’ll feel like old friends. I’m not just another vendor—I’ll be there to support you and document these sweet memories. I want you to be able to relax and know that I’ve got you. We aren’t going to make this an all-day photo shoot. The best photos come from the moments you forget I’m there.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing so much raw emotion, beauty, and most importantly memories we can cherish for a lifetime! We absolutely loved adventuring with you. We could not have have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect photographer to share it with.”

Wedding & Elopement Collections

Your wedding day doesn’t fit into a box, so why should your photography coverage?

A wedding with all your friends and family at an industrial chic venue in Denver is different from a hiking elopement in the Rocky Mountains, and you deserve personalized coverage for whatever you are dreaming up for your big day.

Now I don’t want to be one of those sleazy sales people who hide pricing from you, and I won’t make you get on a call just to see my prices. Reach out, tell me a little bit about what you’re planning, and I’ll email you my full pricing guide right away.

My wedding collections start at $3500, with most couples spending $4800 on full day coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you photograph our LGBTQ+ wedding?

Heck yes! (And I am so sorry this is a question anyone still has to ask.)

How are our photos delivered?

You’ll get your photos in a digital gallery that you can easily share with family and friends. You can download your photos as many times as you want, in high resolution files without any watermarks.

When do we get our photos?

You’ll get 3-5 sneak peek photos within a week after your wedding, and your full gallery will be ready within six weeks!

How many photos will we get?

It depends on how many hours you book me for, and what’s happening throughout the day, but you’ll always get between 50-75 edited photos per hour of coverage.

Do you edit all the photos?

Yes, every photo is edited in a style consistent with what you see on my website. I don’t retouch body shapes, hair, skin, or clothing, because I want you to look like yourselves in your photos!

Do you have insurance and permits?

Yes, I maintain full business liability insurance, and coverage on all my gear. I also have annual photography permits for Boulder OSMP and Rocky Mountain National Park, and I will gladly research permits for any other location we might want to shoot in.

How early should we book you?

If you want a specific date in summer, it’s great if you can reach out at least 6-9 months before, and I book weddings as early as 18 months in advance. But if your date is flexible or in the “off-season” (November through April), I can book on much shorter notice.

Can you help us find a beautiful place to elope?

Of course! Many of my couples are coming to Colorado from out of state, or recently moved here, and want my help in picking the perfect location for their mountain elopement. Once you’re officially booked, I’ll send you a questionnaire to help me personalize my location suggestions for you.

Do we have to be experienced hikers to elope?

Heck no! Some of my favorite elopement locations in Colorado are places we can drive up to in my Subaru or a rented Jeep. But if you’re up for a hike, it opens up a lot more options. Either way, I’ll help you find an epic place to say your vows!

How and when do we pay?

When you are ready to book, a $1,000 retainer and a signed contract will hold your date. The remaining balance is due four weeks before your wedding date. I’m also happy to split the remaining balance into up to four payments for you. For adventure sessions, engagements, proposals, and other portrait sessions, the session fee is paid in full in advance.

How do we book you?

Get in touch via my contact form! If I’m available for your date, we’ll set up a time for us to video chat so we can talk about your big day and make sure we’re right for each other. Then you’ll sign a contract, pay the retainer, and we’re all set!
