Elopement Prices

How this works

We’ll start with a video chat (or meet for a beer, if you’re local to Boulder) to get to know each other. It’s SO important to make sure we get along before your elopement, since I might be the only person there with you! We’ll talk about what you’re envisioning for the day, and how this whole thing works, so that you can feel completely confident in your decision when you book me!

Once we’ve made it official, I’ll send you a questionnaire to get to know you better, so that I can suggest the best locations for you! I want to help you in any way I can, from finding the perfect place for your ceremony to recommending vendors to suggesting ways you can make your day truly special. I am always just a text or email away!

On your elopement day, I’ll be that friend you’ve stayed in touch with online rather than some random vendor you hired, so that you can relax and trust that I’ve got you. Your elopement should not be an all-day photo shoot – the best moments are the ones where you forget that I’m there, because you’re having so much darn fun on your own!

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing so much raw emotion, beauty, and most importantly memories we can cherish for a lifetime! We absolutely loved adventuring with you. We could not have have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect photographer to share it with.”

Elopement Collections

What’s the difference between the elopement and wedding collections?

Elopement collections are focused on the time I’ll spend with you, both photographing your elopement and helping you plan everything leading up to it! Wedding collections also include engagement sessions and coverage by a second photographer. Your guest count does not matter – you can absolutely book a wedding collection for your elopement or vice versa if that better fits what you’re looking for.

How much time do we need for our elopement?

Most of my couples book 6-8 hours for their elopements, but how much time you need depends on so many different things. I don’t want you to rush through your elopement, because it deserves so much more than just a few hours of posed photos. How do you want to remember the day? What do you two love doing together? How can you create an elopement that feels like you?

These are just a few examples of how you can spend your elopement day, but the best part is that you get to make it your own!

Yes its difficult to just bite that bullet of paying for a photographer that is “more expensive” than another. But Nina’s work is leagues above many other photographers, so we decided that we were paying for her travel package so she would be our photographer in Norway.

Nina helped us with planning and locations for our wedding in Norway. I can say with certainty that she was leading the blind and I could not have picked a better person to show the way. Our wedding was beautifully captured thanks to Nina. I could not be happier with the pictures, and I am so happy that we trusted her to capture that day, because she did it so well. Thank you, Nina. You are incredible.

When my husband and I decided to move to Colorado, we knew we wanted to elope and take advantage of all the beautiful spaces in the state. We didn’t give anything much thought other than we wanted great pictures. We contacted dozens of photographers and everyone fell short for one reason or another (timing, style, responsiveness, etc.). When we found Nina, it felt like we found someone who understood us and truly loved CO. She was responsive, prompt, thorough and incredibly helpful. Nina held our hand through the process and we essentially asked her to pick our venue. She delivered and it was exactly what we envisioned. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I am truly grateful that we found Nina!

Nina was AMAZING! There are no words to describe how in love with our photos we are. When picking a photographer for our small mountain wedding we were so nervous that we wouldn’t find someone who knew how to photograph not only people, but also the scenery. We knew that we wanted to get married somewhere in the mountains + snow, and Nina knew the perfect place the first time I talked to her. On the way up to the ceremony site, I texted her because I was a hot mess and was running late (as usual). She was so sweet and genuine, and truly helped me calm down. She helped me realize that I was getting to marry my best friend that day, so nothing else really mattered. The whole ceremony she was outstanding! Nina really knows what she’s doing, and you can tell she loves what she does. We are so so thankful that we found her!

Amazing! We were so lucky to have Nina as our engagement and wedding photographer! If you are looking for someone who is a true professional and has talent oozing out of their pores, look no more! We didn’t quite have everything planned out until the last month and Nina was extremely patient with us. She listens and is on top of everything. Our pictures exceeded our already high expectations. Thank you Nina for everything!!!

Nina was fantastic to work with and the photos are amazing!! We had a winter elopement Rocky Mountain National Park, and the weather caused us to make some last minute changes to our plans. Nina was accommodating in every way! She was so knowledgable about the location and made the day smooth and easy. Our friends and family have given us so many compliments on the photos!

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you photograph our LGBTQ+ elopement?

Heck yes! (And I am so sorry this is a question anyone still has to ask.)

Can you help us find a beautiful place to elope?

Of course! Many of my couples are coming to Colorado from out of state, or recently moved here, and want my help in picking the perfect location for their mountain elopement. I’ve spent the past nine years road-tripping Colorado and exploring every nook and cranny of our beautiful state, so once you’re booked I will send you my elopement location guide (it has 50+ options to choose from!), and help you find the perfect spot!

When do we get our photos?

You will receive a sneak peek photo to your email within 24 hours after your elopement, and your full gallery will be ready within four weeks!

How many photos will we get?

It depends on how many hours I am there for, the schedule of events, and other variables (an hour of hiking means less photos than an hour of ceremony activities). You will generally receive between 50-75 edited photos per hour of coverage.

Will we get high-resolution files?

Yes, this isn’t the ’90s 😉 You will receive the edited photos delivered digitally via your own personalized gallery that you can share with friends and family, and you can download the photos in high-resolution. You will also get a print and digital use release, which means that you can share the photos online or print as many copies as you’d like.

Do you edit all the photos?

Yes, every photo is edited in a style consistent with what you see on my website. I don’t retouch body shapes, hair, skin, or clothing, because I want you to look like yourselves in your photos!

Do you have insurance and permits?

Yes, I maintain full business liability insurance. I also have annual photography permits for Boulder OSMP and Rocky Mountain National Park, and I will gladly research permits for any other location we might want to shoot in.

How and when do we pay?

When you are ready to book, a $1,000 retainer and a signed contract will hold your date. The remaining balance is due three weeks before your elopement. I’m also happy to split the remaining balance into up to four payments for you.

This all sounds great, now how do we book you?

Get in touch via my contact form! If I’m available for your date, we’ll set up a time for us to video chat so we can talk about your big day and make sure we’re right for each other. Then you’ll sign a contract, pay the retainer, and we’re all set!
