Halfway House wedding venue in Boulder

Boulder Wedding Venues

A complete guide to every wedding venue in Boulder County, from downtown Boulder to nearby Longmont, Lafayette, Lyons, and Allenspark. This guide includes everything from modern art galleries and luxury ballrooms to industrial chic spaces and rustic farms—and of course the best ceremony locations with the mountain views that Boulder is known for.

Boulder wedding venues

I might be biased since I’ve lived and worked in Boulder for over twelve years now, but you’ve picked an amazing place to get married. Boulder County has a huge variety in wedding venues, from industrial chic and modern to historical and outdoorsy. This list of venues goes from small and affordable to large and luxurious, so there’s something here for every budget. And no matter where you get married, the mountains are never far away!

To narrow down your search for the perfect Boulder wedding venue, think about what you want your wedding day to feel like. Can you picture yourself playing cornhole with your friends during cocktail hour? Or is sipping craft cocktails by the Boulder Creek more your reception style? Do you want an indoor ceremony, in case the Colorado weather decides your wedding could use hail … in June? Or is showing off the mountains you love to all your guests with an outdoor ceremony more your style?

Once you have a vision, start browsing through the different venue websites to see what fits your style, then schedule tours with all your favorites. There’s nothing like seeing a venue in person to help make up your mind. Planning your wedding from out of state? Many venues offer virtual tours as well!

And if you’re planning a smaller elopement and need ideas for where to hold your ceremony without renting a venue, check out my guide to Boulder elopements.

Best Vacation Rentals in Boulder

Are you traveling in from elsewhere in Colorado or from out-of-state for your Boulder wedding? I’d highly recommend renting a vacation home for your trip rather than staying in a hotel. It’ll give you ample space for getting ready without seeing each other, having a hair and makeup artist come over, or just getting better photos of your preparations in a cute home with good lighting than in a small hotel room.

There are hundreds of AirBnB listings in Boulder, but I’ve spent hours and hours scrolling through them to pick out the most photogenic listings that I’d personally love to stay in. Some are small, perfect for just a couple, while others are big enough to host your wedding party or families all in one place.
