To kick off 2020, Little White Dress hosted their first ever bridal fashion show at Denver’s Union Station, with the new Monique Lhuillier collection of couture gowns. When Kelly from LWD asked me to photograph the event, I think I set a new record for how fast I replied heck yes!
Denver has never been known as the most fashionable city. (In fact we’ve been named worst dressed city in America more than once.) But the times are changing, and this wedding fashion show would have been right at home in New York City.
Denver’s Union Station is one of the most iconic venues in Colorado, and the Great Hall was truly the perfect place to showcase wedding dresses that are works of art. The venue is only available for a few weddings a year, since it’s normally open to the public, and home to a bustling food and drink scene.
Rather than a traditional fashion show where models walk up and down the runway while guests are seated to watch, this was a 360-degree interactive show. Guests could walk around and admire the Monique Lhuillier gowns up close, while sipping on Veuve Clicquot – another sponsor of the evening.
Here’s a small selection of my favorite photographs from the evening.
