Micro-Wedding Venues

Many of the venues in this post have micro-wedding options, whether through cheaper packages on weekdays or by renting out smaller portions of the bigger venue, but the following venues are all perfect for smaller (50 and under) micro-wedding receptions, and are not available for bigger weddings.

Best Indoor Wedding Venues in Denver

If you want to host both your ceremony and reception indoors, and remove any weather-related anxiety from your wedding day, these venues are perfect for you. Denver’s weather can be unpredictable, with afternoon thunderstorms common in summer, and temperatures often dipping below freezing in winter. With an all-indoor venue, you can relax knowing that your wedding will go as planned, no matter what. (And you can of course still get portraits outside, whether you want to stay in the city, or head closer to the mountains for your couples portraits.)

Hotel wedding venues are perfect when you have a lot of guests coming from out of town, and want everyone to stay in one place without worrying about transportation for different parts of your wedding day. Lucky for you, Denver has an incredible selection of hotels wedding venues to choose from! (Pro tip: when contacting venues, ask if they have rooftop access for photos. If you’re dreaming of city vibes, it’s hard to beat the views from up high!)

If you haven’t visited Denver before, you might be surprised by how far away the mountains actually are from the city itself. Luckily there are a lot of wedding venues in the foothills of Denver, close to the mountains, that are still easily reachable from downtown. These venues are all within half an hour or so from Denver! If you want to head further into the mountains, check out my posts on the best venues in Boulder and Estes Park.

Affordable Wedding Venues

Denver is not the cheapest city to get married in, but even our “normal” wedding venues are quite a bit more affordable than in cities like New York and San Francisco. But if you’re getting married on a small budget, and don’t want to spend much of it on your venue, look into the following venues that are rented out by local cities and public lands.
