Colorado Elopement Packages
Step 1
We’ll start with a free no-commitment video chat so we can get to know each other, and make sure you want me by your side on this adventure. We’ll talk about what you’re dreaming of and how I can help you make it happen, so that you can feel completely confident in your decision if you book me.
Step 2
I’ll send you a questionnaire to get clear on your vision so I can suggest the best locations for you, and an 80+ page guide to planning out every little detail of your elopement, complete with a long list of recommended vendors to make sure your day is everything you dreamed of and more. I’m always just an email or text away.
Step 3
By the time your elopement rolls around, we’ll feel like old friends. I’m not just another vendor—I’ll be there to support you and document these epic memories. I want you to be able to relax and know that I’ve got you. We aren’t going to make this an all-day photo shoot. The best photos come from the moments you forget I’m there.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing so much raw emotion, beauty, and most importantly memories we can cherish for a lifetime! We absolutely loved adventuring with you. We could not have have asked for a more perfect day or a more perfect photographer to share it with.”

“Nina helped us plan our elopement with her vast knowledge of the Rocky Mountains. It lifted a huge weight off our shoulders knowing that we were in capable hands, and we couldn’t be happier with the photos she created of our special day!”
How long should we book you for?
Most of my couples book 8 hours for their elopements, but how much time you need really depends. I don’t want you to rush through your elopement, because it deserves so much more than just a few hours of posed photos. How do you want to remember the day? What do you two love doing together? How can you create an elopement that feels like you?
These are just a few examples of how you can spend your elopement day, but the best part is that you get to make it your own! Want more details? Contact me to schedule a call, and I’m happy to put together an example timeline after I’ve heard more about what you’re looking for.

Frequently Asked Questions
While the pandemic took us all by surprise in March, we know what we’re dealing with now. I highly recommend that you plan an elopement that you’ll be able to go through with, whatever else happens this coming year. That means planning on a small guest list (if you’re having guests at all), and keeping most if not all of your photo coverage outdoors. If you feel unsafe traveling to Colorado right now, I can’t guarantee that you’ll feel more safe next summer.
This year, I have worn a mask when indoors at all my elopements, and any time I’m within 10 feet of others outdoors. I’m also limiting how much time I spend indoors for i.e. getting ready or reception photos where you and your guests are not wearing masks. Lastly I ask all my couples to drive their own cars to/from different locations rather than riding with me. Hopefully we can get back to normal soon, but I’m taking this seriously, and hope you are too.
If you book me now, then decide as we get closer to postpone your elopement until the pandemic is over, I can let you move your elopement to a new date within twelve months from the original without losing your non-refundable retainer. If you completely cancel your elopement, the retainer is non-refundable.
Heck yes – I’m an Equally Wed certified LGBTQ+ inclusive vendor, and passionately believe that love is love.
You’ll get your photos in a digital gallery that you can easily share with family and friends. You can download your photos as many times as you want, in high resolution files without any watermarks.
You’ll get 3-5 sneak peek photos within a week after your wedding, and your full gallery will be ready within six weeks.
It depends on how many hours you book me for, and what’s happening throughout the day, but around 50 edited photos per hour of coverage is normal. All the good stuff, without any unflattering photos or lots of duplicates of the exact same thing.
Yes, every photo is edited in a style consistent with what you see on my website. I don’t retouch body shapes, hair, skin, or clothing, because I want you to look like yourselves in your photos!
Yes, I maintain full business liability insurance, and coverage on all my gear (so I don’t have to stress when we’re caught in a hail storm). I also have annual photography permits for Boulder OSMP, Rocky Mountain National Park, Larimer County, and Jefferson County, and I will always research permits for any other location we might want to shoot in.
If you want a specific date in summer, it’s great if you can reach out at least 6-9 months before, and I book full-day elopements up to 12-15 months in advance. But if your date is flexible or in winter (November through April), I can book on much shorter notice.
Of course! Many of my couples are coming to Colorado from out of state, or recently moved here, and want my help in picking the perfect location for their mountain elopement. Once you’re officially booked, I’ll send you a questionnaire to help me personalize my location suggestions for you, then put together a big list of my favorite options for you to choose from.
Heck no! Some of my favorite elopement locations in Colorado are places we can drive up to in my Subaru or a rented Jeep. But if you’re up for a hike, it opens up a lot more options. Either way, I’ll help you find an epic place to say your vows!
When you are ready to book, a $1000 retainer and a signed contract will make it official. The remaining balance is due four weeks before your wedding date. I’m also happy to split the remaining balance into up to four payments for you. For adventure sessions, engagements, proposals, and other portrait sessions, the session fee is paid in full in advance.
Get in touch via my contact form! If I’m available for your date, we’ll set up a time for us to video chat so we can talk about your big day and make sure we’re right for each other. Then you’ll sign a contract, pay the retainer, and we’ll get started on planning!
