Colorado Wedding Photographer

for couples who want a celebration with all their favorite people, while still keeping the focus on what matters most.

While I primarily photograph elopements and micro-weddings, I save room in my schedule for a handful of bigger weddings every year. It’s where I first got my start, and I’ve shot over 75 weddings (and another 150+ elopements) since.

Because I want to be present and fully focus on my role as your photographer, I only book weddings that have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator to handle the timeline, coordinate vendors, line up the ceremony, and all that good stuff. If you haven’t already booked someone, I’m happy to recommend wonderful planners who’ll take all the stress off your plate and make the day run smooth no matter what happens.

“Nina is absolutely amazing! We got to work with Nina on both our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be more thankful that we did! Nina is not only a fantastic photographer but also an amazing person. She makes everyone feel so relaxed and comfortable. Both of our families and many guests commented on how wonderful Nina is and how she was like magic that she was able to be everywhere and capture everything! Whether you are planning an elopement or a large wedding, you cannot go wrong working with Nina.”

“Nina was a constant source of knowledge and positivity throughout the planning and execution of our micro-wedding in Colorado. She became so much more to us than just a photographer, and the care and attention to detail she puts into her work was clear from the very first conversation we shared.”

“Nina has this amazing ability to capture moments of love, laughter, and everywhere in between. Over and over again my husband and I look at our photos and are transported back to our wedding day, one of the happiest days of our lives, and I am so thrilled that Nina was there to capture all the little (and big!) moments. The day of the wedding, Nina was a dream. I’m so happy we went with Nina for our engagement and wedding photos. Our photos are the one thing we will have to forever remind us of the day we became husband and wife, and Nina’s pure talent captured every moment.”

Frequently Asked Questions

I mostly photograph weddings with under 100 guests, but I don’t have a hard limit. If you’re excited to have everyone there, I’m excited to photograph them!

While I can’t book weddings without first having a date for our contract, I’m happy to share my available dates if you want to make sure our schedules match up.

You should also lock down a venue before booking any other vendors—except for a wedding planner, who can help you find the right venue. I have a list of all my favorite venues in Colorado here that might help you find the one.

I include travel within Colorado in my full day and weekend collections. For travel outside of Colorado, please reach out for a custom quote.

I help my couples with vendor recommendations, photo locations, and creating a photo timeline for the day, along with any other photo-related questions you may have.

I am not a wedding planner though, and highly recommend that you hire someone who can help you book vendors, create a full timeline for every part of the day, coordinate your vendors on the day of the wedding, get everyone lined up for the ceremony, help transition the venue from dinner to dancing, and a million other things that make wedding planners magicians.

If you haven’t already booked a planner, I’d love to share my favorites with you!

Get in touch via my contact form, and tell me where and when you’re getting married. If I’m available, we’ll schedule a video chat to talk more about your plans and how I can help you. This part is super important! The more comfortable you are around your photographer, the better your photos will be, too, so let’s make sure we’re a good fit before you book.

I photograph weddings on both digital and film cameras, so that you get the best of both worlds. You can read more about my approach to film photography here.

You’ll get 5-10 sneak peek photos within 48 hours after your wedding, and your full gallery will be ready within six weeks.

Your photos are delivered in a digital gallery that you can easily share with family and friends. You can download your photos as many times as you want, as high resolution files without any watermarks. Your online gallery will be live for one year, so you’ll need to download and backup your photos elsewhere.

The exact number of photos will depend on how many hours I’m there for, and what’s happening throughout the day, but around 50 photos per hour of coverage is normal. You’ll get all the good stuff, without any unflattering photos or lots of duplicates of the same thing.

You can order high quality prints, wall art, cards, and wedding albums directly from your online gallery. All products ordered from your gallery come from my preferred printing labs, and are shipped directly to your home.

You’ll also get a print release that allows you to print your photos anywhere you’d like, but I can’t guarantee the colors and quality on any prints and products ordered outside of your gallery shop.

Both! While I primarily shoot on Fujifilm digital cameras, I also have a couple of different film cameras that I love to incorporate as often as possible. Because film is unpredictable, I don’t guarantee a set number of film photos—but if you love film as much as I do, tell me and I’ll take as many as I can.

“To say the day of our wedding was amazing is an understatement because Nina singlehandedly turned our already amazing day into the most incredible adventure! Thank you, Nina, from the bottom of our hearts for capturing these memories that will no doubt be cherished for generations!”
